DESCRIPTION:Please join us on May 21\, 2025 (6 to 9 pm) for “An Evening with Friends of the Brain Health Institute.” Meet our leading scientists pursuing cutting-edge research on everything from autism to Alzheimer’s Disease over drinks and hors d’oeuvres. The evening will include a scientific presentation from the BHI Director\, and time for discussion and to meet our BHI Center Directors and other scientists. It will be held at the Rutgers Zimmerli Art Museum in New Brunswick\, so attendees will also have time to browse the many interesting exhibits in the museum galleries. A highlight of this inaugural event will be a musical performance by a rising star soprano at the Metropolitan Opera in New York\, Amanda Batista. Amanda\, a Rutgers alum\, is in the Met’s Lindemann Young Artist Development Program. Ms. Batista will be accompanied by her fellow Lindemann Young Artist\, pianist Ye In Kwak.
