
12th Annual Rutgers Brain Health Institute Symposium
Registration for the 12th Annual Rutgers Brain Health Institute Symposium will open soon. This year’s symposium will be held on Wed, Dec 2nd, 2026, at the College Ave Student Center in New Brunswick.
- The Keynote will be delivered by Dr. Joe LeDoux from NYU.
- We will hear presentations from faculty (some new) and trainees from across Rutgers.
- Back by popular demand– the two-minute flash talks by poster presenters prior to the poster session and the trainee “Brain Art” exhibition.
- We will have a special afternoon session on the new Rutgers Women’s Brain Health Initiative.
Keynote Speaker: Joseph E LeDoux
Dr. LeDoux is Professor Emeritus at New York University, where he was a University Professor, Henry and Lucy Moses Professor, Professor of Neural Science and Psychology, and Professor of Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at NYU Langone Medical School. He is an elected member of the National Academy of Sciences and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. His work has focused on the topics of emotion, memory, and consciousness and their interaction in the brain. Learn more
