Alice studies the role of peripheral metabolic dysregulation in modulating neuroinflammation in normal physiology, Alzheimer’s disease, and traumatic brain injury. She will present preliminary findings suggesting that adipose tissue lipolysis contributes to neuroinflammation and hyperactivity in a mouse model of Alzheimer’s disease (5xFAD). She would appreciate any feedback on future research aims, focusing on improving clinical significance and methodology.
